The Politics of deception and confusion

One would expect I would write about the EPRDF. This time I am writing against some actions of two groups who claim to represent Kinijit. The first group(Group A) is the group that is functioning in the Diaspora. It has, in its bank account hundred of thousands of dollars that it has stolen from the public. It is using Tensae and Andenet Radios, kinijit.org, debteraw ..websites to deceive and confuse Ethiopians. It is currently engaged in the campaign of insults and fabrications to destroy and discredit CUD leaders like Judge Birtukan Mideksa and Dr Berhanu Nega.

Group A has illegally patented the logo and name of Kinijit and suing Kinijit supporters. It had been in charge of the Kinijit Diaspora activity when Kinijit leaders were jailed two years ago. Basically with its old politics and undemocratic behaviors, this group pushed out many Kinijit Supporters. In the name of Kinijit they offended a certain group of our population and became embarrassment to many of us who support Kinijit.

This group , because of their disgusting and unkinijitawi actions, was thrown out and rejected by rank and file Kinijit activists and the people. They lost the courage to face the public and are now functioning in the dark like hyenas.

The second group, group B, is the group that is currently functioning in Ethiopia. It is financed and supported by group A. When many of Kinijit leaders, supporters and their families were denied support by the Diaspora Kinijit (controlled then by group A), group B individuals were getting substantial amount of support. So the alliance between Group A and Group B date back more than years back.

Group B has opened an account under the name "AEUP" in the Abyssinia Bank. They have applied to the NEBE as a new political party "Kinijit-AEUP". Now they are trying to subvert the will of the Kinijit council and maneuvering on their own independently. They are determined to kill KINIJIT and establish back the old AEUP. They are determined to bring back the struggle to where it was 3, 4 years ago. They formed an ad-hoc committee (contrary to the decision of the Kinijit council) to negotiate the legal status of Kinijit. When they do that they intentionally added the name of Dr Yacob Hailemariam to deceive and confuse Ethiopians.

Dr Yacob Hailemarian was quick to clarify matters and nail down on the head this "villain" and shameful acts from the part of some individuals whom we had respect before.(like Ato Abayneh ..)

I believe this is being orchestrated and planned by Ato Hailu Shawel himself. When he looses the battle in the Diaspora and was in big time rejected by Ethiopians all over the United States, Europe , Canada, Africa and Australia he has bought some people with money and tried to subvert the movement of Kinijit. He is using his last breath to make sure there will be no Kinijit that puts him on the throne. When does this guy learn what the people's power is? When does he learn that he is no longer important unless he works together with his colleagues and abide by the principles of Kinijit? When does he learn that we are tired of his old , arrogant politics of the past? When does he learn that his time is over ? When does he stop to lie , deceive and ask others to lie for him and deceive for him ?

Surely soon, Kinijit will clean itself from trouble makers and show again to the people that it has not lost its track and is ready for primetime. For this all of us must play our part. In view of the all out attacks from all direction, it is no time to give up and loose hope. It is time to come out with anger and more determination to save, protect and make Kinijit what it should be.
